Before performing maintenance on a 15 mva ynd11 step up transformer, put a standby 15 mva ynd11 step up transformer into operation, disconnect the low-voltage circuit breaker of the 15 mva ynd11 step up transformer to be serviced, remove the control fuses, and disconnect the high-voltage circuit breaker of the 15 mva ynd11 step up transformer. Close the grounding switch, conduct proper discharge of the transformer, lock the high-voltage cabinet, and hang a "Do Not Close" sign at the switch handle.

 

During transformer maintenance, ensure that the grounding system is in good condition and that ground wires are free from corrosion. Severely corroded components should be replaced. Tighten lead terminals, bushings, grounding screws, and busbar screws. It is essential to clean the dust from around the 15 mva ynd11 step up transformer and its components, check the firefighting facilities and ventilation system for proper functionality. Verify the condition of cooling fans, temperature controllers, and disconnect the high-voltage grounding switch, securely lock the high-voltage switchgear, and measure the insulation resistance with a 2500V megohmmeter.

 

Compare the insulation resistance value obtained with the value recorded at the time of factory testing, and the insulation resistance should not be lower than 70% of the original data. If it falls below this threshold, it must be reported and addressed immediately. Re-engage the high-voltage grounding switch to allow for discharge, check for any residual tools in the 15 mva ynd11 step up transformer chamber and the15 mva ynd11 step up transformer, and leave the site. Electricians should diligently maintain records of transformer maintenance and test operations.
